As if going to do a big shop wasn't enough excitement for my day - driving home - I stop off at that spider house they call a post box...and I see the post mans been - with a parcel (hes left a little note).
Looking very important i reverse and shoot straight to the parcel post room. I know where this is because our Wifi got delivered there and the address is something like 161 Male St, Via Lane Ways. So there I was looking for a shopping centre-like building called 'Lane Ways' - going up and down the street. eventually i park up and ask someone - they too look puzzled - i show them the piece of paper - turns out Lane Ways - means 'alley way/path' -Joy! As if life wasnt hard enough they've got a different word for PATH!
Anyway - my parcel is from my lovely friend Tutu and is full of goodness!
Firstly there are messages on post-it notes from my lovely friends at Tigerprint, which i've put on my fridge...
I MISS YOU!
Then there were amazing thoughtful presents from Princess Tutu -
and a lovely card.. " the heart is a pin cushion so you can put your pins and needles in it when you're cross-stitching! And i thought the paper chains might keep you busy until your things arrive!"
In the parcel were lots of envelopes which (correct me if im wrong) should keep till a later date to open?
And, AMZING news - Mr TC and i are to experience chocolate as we know it again - Tutu - our savour has sent supplies - a Boost!
A real English Boost! Mr TC and I took out a loan and bought one the other week (it was £1.50!) and it tasted like dog p*o - and dont be going 'have you ever eaten dog p*o then TC - no I haven't eaten dog p*o, but ive got a bloody good idea what it tastes like. It tastes like Australian Boosts.
The next thing is to decide when will we eat it...will we celebrate when our furniture arrives and crack open the Boost? naaah - it probably wont see the morning.
ps. note the 'Roasted Capsicum' dip in my fridge!
Thank You Princess Tutu - you've made my day xx
