I just remembered this gorgeous shop TOAST back in Blighty. It was always somewhere I loved to browse, but could never justify spending the cash - back in the day when my wage just wouldnt stretch.
Id like to think - looking at all the beautiful things in their catalogue that I would splash the cash more freely now - and that for a Yorkshire lass is saying something!
The styling of the photography is just beautiful and each catalogue must be like flicking thorugh any stylists dream.
The colours are beautiful and autumnal - just like my ideal palette would be, what with my very English pale skin, dark hair green eyes. Someone said to me the other day "you LOOK English!" I took it as a compliment.
I like photography alot. And ever since I was at art college, in a life drawing class and the teacher help us make our very own view-finder (2 bits of paper, cut and folded to make a rectange) its helped me compose better photos ever since. Some people have said that I take good photos. Id like to take more. I have a lovely little camera which I saved up over 2 birthdays and a Christmas for - a Sony Alpa. I do infact love it.
I dont really understand about lenses, appature and all that kinda stuff, but I think thats a good thing as Im not over complicating things. Point and shoot.
I find when taking photos of people - its always good to be smiling when you are doing it. Even better - a laugh.
