Yesterday I'd popped out at lunch to have a look at Border's book shop to eye up the competition (I design stationery amongst other things). And I was walking through Melbourne Central (quite fast) when I heard a little voice...
"Excuse me...... excuse me....."
I turned around to see a beautiful tall Japanese lady stood kinda infront of me, but shuffling to my side. I turned to face her again, and she shuffled to my quarter again. I truned again - and she did it again! So I thought - what ever shes gonna say to me/try sell me - Im just gonna say no. The shuffling and the awkward silence was unbearable. Then, she must have seen my unimpressed look and she finally decided to speak -
"Would you be interested in a career in Modeling?
"NO THANKS" I barked - and walked off!! - Only to digest what she had said 10 seconds later when I was ploughing down the road!
By then it was too late to do anything about it - Id have looked a fool. I think she took her time over speaking as she must have got up close and realed - ahhh - I paniced - up close you really arnt model material.
But it was nice to be asked and it helped my posture for the afternoon as my chest was inflated.
