eBay IS the way forward. its magical - especially when you have great picks.
Mr TC and I were struggling a bit to fill this mammoth house - we even ventured to IKEA but then saw sense and left with 2 air tight jars and a picture frame. IKEA is great for bits, but if you want longevity you have to be very careful with your choices. I love a Malm for-instance, but its not gonna last for ever.
So, just the other night we scoured eBay for various items. This (above) being one of them. Its a bloody lovely desk which we are so proud of. Its gonna be with us for life, and cost, in comparison to IKEA sod all!
Mr TC has made friends with a lovely lad at work. We knew he was going to be our friend as soon as we saw him - sometimes you just know don't you. He offered to take us - in his brother's UTE to pick up our purchases - in return for setting him up with Mr TC's sister - only kidding Cock!! but he would be ideal! (*Mr TC and his sister affectionately refer to each-other as 'Cock' - just incase you're wondering - perfectly normal.)
So off we went - after some very garlic-ey sausages (not great when you're sat in the middle of a 2.5 seater cab of a ute - between two windy boys! UCK!
First stop was this beautiful desk, 2nd stop Caroline Springs for some dining furniture and 3rd stop (somewhere I cant remember what its called) for some 'mushroom pink' bar stools! All items were a triumph - we are delighted! We had such a good time, we laughed all the way round.
